Using Iceberg to build the packages, but can use the command line or the packagemaker GUI if needed. Is there a way to have the installer show the custom install options rather than defaulting to easy install? I have 5 components in my metapackage one of which is selected as required.. I need the user to select one of the other 4 so would like custom to show rather than easy. A distribution script would let you do that. This means PackageMaker and Terminal. Additionally while there is a way to make regular packages require admin access I see no way to make a metapackage require admin access.. is this possible? (for one of the scripts that the package runs). A metapackage inherits the most restrictive authorization requirements of its children. This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
