Hi Stephane, thanks for trying out the scripts. Yes, I know that they are minimal. If the script you mentions fails it's quite okay. But I don't think that they are the cause for the odd error messages. My latest tests were with the following script: #! /bin/sh echo test exit 0 Something else must be the problem here. I tend to believe you should check that $thepid is set before trying to kill the process because there may not be a "Mail Archiver Scheduler" running process on the system (e.g. first install).
