Hi All,
I am creating a installer package with some preinstall & postinstall scripts. I want to browse through the package contents to make sure that all the scripts are copied fine. Earlier there was a menu item for .pkg file "Show package contents" which was useful for this. But if I change the target platform of package to leopard onwards, this menu item is no longer available.
Can anyone help me to figure out how i can see the contents of a .pkg file now ? thanks for help in advance.
man pkgutil the --expand command is what you want. Alternately, Pacifist seems able to look into most flat packages. _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
