The installer seems to replace the old bundle content with the new content but the version and creation date that finder shows is still the old. So the user can't check if the update was ok or not (the app that uses this plugin works well with it). I looked into the contents folder of the new installed bundle and it's all new stuff in there and the info.plist file has got the new version in both the "Bundle version" and "Bundle versions string, short" keys but finder doesn't show this. How can I force finder to show this correctly ? Or is it better practice to delete the old plugin before installing the update ?
