Display progress of internal packages
site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: installer-dev@lists.apple.com Thread-index: AcnJqY5AEl7NS31geE+al1JUWYZTFw== Thread-topic: Display progress of internal packages User-agent: Microsoft-Entourage/12.17.0.090302 I'm fairly sure that this can't be done, but if someone knows the trick, I'd love to hear it. I have a package that contains other packages (.mpkg) inside of it and would love for it to display it's progress as it installs the internal packages. For instance, if I run the .mpkg, it will show each step as it moves through all of its components (which are even more .mpkgs). But, when I put it in a flat-package .pkg format (10.5 only), I get a non-moving progress bar until it is complete with that particular .mpkg. I'd considered using my iHook trick I use with a different deployment, but since I didn't create the original .mpkg and am just re-packing them into a larger installer, I don't have the freedom to add hooks where I want to. I'm open for suggestions. -- Bryan S. Lee _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
