The original poster is hoping for the "death of Admin Authentication" and the response is that "(Admin authentication now always requests a password.)" Doesn't this mean that Admin authentication is still around??? Can we get a comparison of the old and new behavior? How does it affect our installations? That's the extent of the Installer.app changes. (Admin authentication now always requests a password.)
