There are very few things which have been fully deprecated in the Mac OS X Installer over the years (although there have been bugs that prevents a package from working on new releases). In Leopard a new package format was introduced, although the previous format should work just fine. If you find any specific problems, please report bugs to Apple.
Hi, our software is installed via Apple Installer installation packages which work dandy under Tiger. Will it work under Leopard? What differences from an installer POV should I know about? Any resources available?
Another issue is if you have a program (bundled .app) in your installer's Resources and run it out of your postinstall script with /usr/bin/open, it'll fail because it gets tagged as "downloaded from the Internet".
