Distribution script format (stupid) question
site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: installer-dev@lists.apple.com Shouldn't they have been defined in the appropriate packages instead? _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. Installer-dev mailing list (Installer-dev@lists.apple.com) Help/Unsubscribe/Update your Subscription: http://lists.apple.com/mailman/options/installer-dev/site_archiver%40lists.a... Locators for components that are part of sub packages are defined in the Distribution script. For instance, a sub package can be updated and one of its components removed. If the whole "metapackage" is not rebuilt (that happens sometimes when you just need to update a package), then the distribution script includes out-dated information. I agree that the installKB value would probably be incorrect anyway so the whole package would ideally need to be rebuilt. This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
