How do I share a java script with others?
site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: installer-dev@lists.apple.com Hi all, I'm new to this so let's pretend that I've written a java script file for use with a distribution. Question 1: It looks like PackageMaker uses the .js and .plist files inside the PackageMaker.app/Resources folder. I'm betting I could put my new one there and it'd get picked up. However, the problem with this approach is that it's difficult to keep files outside of our source tree up to date. Is there another way to get PackageMaker to find where java scripts are located? Question 2: In PackageMaker, there is a 'Global Scripts' heading, is it possible to add another script section that is in another location? Question 3: On the 'Global Scripts' pane there is a check box for 'Allow External Scripts'. This is not described in the help, what is it for?
