I setup the permissions of the files in PM, only to load the file later and see that they're all changed back to $ME:admin with 700 privs. It's quite frustrating. If I change the permissions of the source files then PM complains about the privs when trying to build. What am I missing? I could use a script with SUDO but I'd like a "cleaner" solution. Currently I'm using a bash script as well for the "functional" version, but I wanted to try my hand at PM 3 for some of the conditional branching. Are you using PackageMaker 2.0 (that came with Tiger) or PM 3 (Leopard)? I still use PM 2 because I find it has fewer annoyances than PM 3.
