Re: Kexts and the most current version of PackageMaker
site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: installer-dev@lists.apple.com I will be glad to share my script if that helps. Regards, Jim Dodd Onset Computer Corp. I setup the permissions of the files in PM, only to load the file later and see that they're all changed back to $ME:admin with 700 privs. It's quite frustrating. If I change the permissions of the source files then PM complains about the privs when trying to build. What am I missing? I could use a script with SUDO but I'd like a "cleaner" solution. Currently I'm using a bash script as well for the "functional" version, but I wanted to try my hand at PM 3 for some of the conditional branching. It looks like it's not quite ready for prime time (PM 3). Thanks for the offer. Are you using PackageMaker 2.0 (that came with Tiger) or PM 3 (Leopard)? I still use PM 2 because I find it has fewer annoyances than PM 3. Also, I find it hard to use the phrase "a cleaner solution" in the same sentence with "PackageMaker" :-) ----- Original Message ---- This email sent to bcbuilderboy@yahoo.com This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
