MetaPackages in Leopard Packagemaker

Installer-dev mailing list (Installer-dev@lists.apple.com) Help/Unsubscribe/Update your Subscription: http://lists.apple.com/mailman/options/installer-dev/site_archiver%40lists.a... In the 10.4 days you could not include metapackages in distributions...you could only include packages in Distributions (I think). What is the best way to create a packagemaker project in which you can include metapackages and packages....which aren't just treated as files to drop in the system? I can't seem to create anything that will allow this. For example, I create a new project with 10.5 as the oldest target - I then drag in a metapackage. By default it treats this is a file/folder and simply deposits the metapackage in the target path specified in the component pane....instead of running the metapackage as an installer. I've only been using PM 10.5 for a week or so, on and off, so I'll be happy to admit ignorance here....any ideas? This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
