Installer-dev mailing list (Installer-dev@lists.apple.com) Help/Unsubscribe/Update your Subscription: http://lists.apple.com/mailman/options/installer-dev/site_archiver%40lists.a... This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com I was reviewing the release notes for the 10.4.1 Server Update (at http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301518), and I noticed the following: "This update can be installed on non-startup volumes, but you should only do this if the current startup volume has already been updated to Mac OS X Server 10.4.1. The simplest way to avoid issues from an improper installation is to start up from the volume that you wish to update." Does anyone know what this requirement is about? Can installing from Max OS X 10.4.1 (non-server) also work? smime.p7s
