site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: installer-dev@lists.apple.com Hi, sorry if being off-topic, but it's related to installer packaging. Thanks for advice, Pavol Markovic _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored. Installer-dev mailing list (Installer-dev@lists.apple.com) Help/Unsubscribe/Update your Subscription: http://lists.apple.com/mailman/options/installer-dev/site_archiver%40lists.a... I'd like to distribute installer and related files in password encrypted dmg file (as StuffIt Expander is no longer default part of Mac OS X (since 10.4) and download from allume.com is not very straightforward. And system's BOMArchiver does not support password protected zip files. As the dmg file is too large so I decided to segment it. And here's the problem. When user clicks on first segment, he'll be asked for password for every single dmg segment. Is there any way to type the password once for all segments? I've tried to use no password for all but first dmg segment, but still the prompt window shows up. It's not very handy when you have 8 segments. This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
