[Rick sent me the `lsof` output via email.] The `lsof` output shows 241 (!) file descriptors used for TCP sockets, all to the same host. That’s /way/ too high. Each session should have its own internal limit to the number of connections it opens to a given host; you can pin this using `HTTPMaximumConnectionsPerHost` (which is typically 4) but it’s also pinned by the internal workings on NSURLSession. It seems that this pin has come unstuck )-: How you modify `HTTPMaximumConnectionsPerHost` at all?
