I have a problem with edit to video (and print to video as well)
I have a small video (30 sek) It was produced with app. 700 still photos,
each 1 frame length and with 10 audio tracks. I then exported it as a
quicktime movie full size (DV PAL) and then created a new project, imported
the movie and then try to edit to tape.
The quicktime movie looks fine, and so does the canvas. But when it is
output to the tape it seems like dropped frames. Moving objekts jump on the
screen. I then put the render files (scratch disk) to an external firewire
drive and re render. Nothing seems to do it.
I have tried with a G3 imac 600 MHZ Mac OS 9.1 and with a G4 imac 800MHZ Mac
OS 9.2
My video deck is a SONY DCR-1800P with DV option ($18.000)
FCP 1.2 and FCP 1.2.5
Does anyone have a clue ??????
It has previously been working in that configuration....
Sincerly / Med venlig hilsen

Is it a safe assumption that an FX Script plugin which works fine on FCP3 will work in
FCE1 and likewise one which works in FCP4 will work in FCE2?
Apart from the lack of ability to set keyframes in FCE there's no technical difference
as far as FX Script is concerned is there?

Someone on the FCP team told me that render files would be accessible in XML exports
from FCP. This doesn't seem to be the case - no mention in the PDF doc and doing a
simple test export doesn't produce any visible data or relink render files upon import.
What's the situation on this because it would certainly be a very good feature to have
in the XML spec.
