That would just complicate your code, and would ultimately call malloc () anyway. Sorry, there's nothing like a memory suite in the FxPlug SDK at present. It is something we know would be a good addition some day. Realistically, there are plenty of other demands on RAM outside of the app's purview. So depending on how much memory you're talking about, you might just get by with malloc(). Is there a recommended way of allocating memory in an FxPlug? We have a very memory hungry plugin and I'm worried about the host app's image caches. I don't see anything like After Effect's memory calls. We are beginning our journey into the mac world. I have written a couple of device drivers on Tiger. But, my knowledge on Mac is just limited to that. We have obtained premier support option from Apple to guide us into it. I was wondering if anyone knows about the process involved in getting the board and drivers integrated into FC Pro. I would appreciate if you could enlighten me on how long it may take to get our boards to work with FC Pro. Any details on the process will be appreciated.
