But they didn't make information like above appear. ) The PboardType I used was NSFilenamesPboardType. What actually matters, I think, is the data of the 2nd flavor. The one using the Finder starts with MooV????, which says that the dragged item is a QuickTime movie, while the one from my application doesn't contain anything. They are not the same, despite their similar names. i've been searching for a long time for a way to make a motion plugin. I found something about fxscripting but i have no idea where to start with it.... i downloaded the fxscripting sdk for xcode, i made a new project for it but i have no idea what to do from there. Are there any fxscripting tutorials? whenever i google them i always get websites advertising plugins, not a single one tells me how i make a plugin for motion. at one point i found that FCP and Motion both use plugins built with fxscripts and that FCP has the FXBuilder. I tried using that but the thing i made was only viewable in FCP. Because the paste board type to use is NSFilenamesPboardType, I populate file names with its path prefixed. But it didn't work. Looks like a bug to me and I have filed a bug report on it. I am trying to read Sound TC and Sound Roll info from an XML file out of FCP. The xmeml version is 4.0. The Sound TC and Sound Roll info are present in the bin, but I can't find them in the XML, and the FCP XML spec doesn't advertise them as something that will be exported, either. You get the "unsupported enabler" warning on launch, but I got my RT (dissolves, supers and Colour correction) I'm sure you could do the same for your codec and change 720 to 768, but obviously if it crashes and burns and loses your $1 million project, it's your fault ;-) (and even a rabid tinkerer like me makes a copy of "RT Software Enabler.txt" before messing it up) I noticed a strange behaviour of the RT-Playback in FCP. When my sequence uses a preset for its settings (e.g. PAL, 720x576)there are no problems in playing it. But if I want to use PAL with square pixel ratio (768x576) I get the red lines over my timeline, saying me it cannot be played in RT. In this case the rendering does take very long, too.
