My guess would be that that one (or more) of the 3rd party plugins are making the plugin loading fail. I'm no expert, though. Drag all the plugins out of your FxPlug directory/directories, then start adding them back one at a time, launching FCP each time, to see if they start appearing. Starting with the safest, most trusted FxPlug. 2.) Drag only the suspect FxPlugs out into a separate temp directory, and relaunch FCP to see if the rest of the plugins reveal themselves. Start by removing Sapphire, DPX, and the Sony FxPlugs. If it doesn't work, keep dragging out more of them until it does work. If it were me, I'd start by temporarily removing all the third party FxPlug plugins, everything except my own. And see in mine load okay, because those I can do something about. If that works and my FxPlug plugins appeared in FCP, then I'd start loading 3rd party FxPlug pugins back in, in a divide and conquer manner until I've isolated the culprits. Not that I'm aware of. I have Sapphire from Genarts installed and their web site notes that it is so far incompatible with 10.6. Is there anything in the system log or console that gives any hints?
