Hi All I have a quick question regarding the current FCPXML 1.2 version. Is there any syntax that can be used to prevent the creation of a new event? I’ve just created a rather quick and dirty utility to speed things up for myself by automating simple string outs of titles in FCP X. It all works well enough (disregarding the desperate lack of control for pre-formatting the text elements) … but every time I import a new string out I get an associated new (and empty) event, and I’m wondering if there is any way I can suppress that happening? A less quick question: In the past I seem to remember there were Apple Events that could be used to query an FCP application instance and return a list of open projects, so a 3rd party application could present a list of target projects for an operation … is there any functionality like that currently available for FCP X users like myself?
