Martin, Final Cut Pro 10.0.5 has much of Motion 5.0.4 inside to 'play back' Motion templates. That means 5.0.5 templates won't be recognised in FCP 10.0.5. However, you might try editing the Motion XML file so instead of starting with
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE ozxmlscene> <ozml version="5.5">
<displayversion>5.0.5</displayversion>
...it starts with <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE ozxmlscene> <ozml version="5.2"> <displayversion>5.0.4</displayversion> This has worked for some of my templates.
