I do have a P2 metadata editor, which is bit more advanced than others. One feature is that you can send clips from the app as offline clip XMLs to Final Cut Pro as ready to use for Log & Transfer. This works perfect and most of the people are happy and exited about that -- but as always there is a BUT. If I transfer spanned clips the 'fielddominance' is not interpreted correctly. So for example it goes from 'none' to 'upper' on XML import even if the clip does have the correct entry in the XML. The even more astonishing thing that there is no 'fielddominance' entry if I export this clip again from FCP (even though it's listed in the clips properties in the UI).
