I am developing a QuickTime Movie Export Component that works fine in QuickTime Player, but does not show up in Compressor 2 application. How can I get Compressor to recognize my component? In the Inspector pane, if you choose "QuickTime Export Components" from "File Format" popup menu, then the "Encoder Type" popup only list 3D and AVI. It does not list the other components that are installed in /Library/QuickTime/. I don't know for certain if this is the answer, but I found this Technical Q&A helpful when writing a component for Final Cut Pro: Maybe someone from the Compressor team can verify whether these notes apply to Compressor, also?
