site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: Pro-apps-dev@lists.apple.com Hi Andreas, Rainer, This isn't *exactly* right. There are master clips for all the used media. Even if the user deletes them from the bowser, we still need to retain that information, so we stash it at the project level. Cheers, Helena On 2010-05-03, at 11:03 AM, Andreas Kiel wrote:
Hi Rainer,
I double checked here, and you're right. This seems to be a bit confusing the way it is done. All items inside a bin or sequence will be lifted to the project level of the XML. If you got a linked clipitem inside a sequence this clipitem will be listed as it is (linked) and all the subparts will be listed addinationally, so there will be different UUIDs. Problem is that you don't which of the clips belong to where.

Hello all,
I seem to be getting clips in a table of context where there aren't any in the project. These clips do occur at the root level (where they are not in the project), and inside a tree of bins (where they do exist in the project). The different instances of the same clip have different uuids.
Anyone else seeing something like this?
Thanks,
