The FxPlug SDK is here: http://developer.apple.com/appleapplications/fxplugsdk.html Happy plugin writing! - Paul On Dec 18, 2008, at 2:49 PM, Hayden Young wrote: Hi, thanks ~H~ _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. FxPlug is the API for writing image processing plugins for use by both Motion and Final Cut. They are not the same, despite their similar names. i've been searching for a long time for a way to make a motion plugin. I found something about fxscripting but i have no idea where to start with it.... i downloaded the fxscripting sdk for xcode, i made a new project for it but i have no idea what to do from there. Are there any fxscripting tutorials? whenever i google them i always get websites advertising plugins, not a single one tells me how i make a plugin for motion. at one point i found that FCP and Motion both use plugins built with fxscripts and that FCP has the FXBuilder. I tried using that but the thing i made was only viewable in FCP. Motion didn't even recognise it even though i told it in the preferences where it was and restarted Motion. if anyone can tell me how to write a plugin for Motion and get Motion to realise it's there (and where the plugin will appear in Motion) then that would be of great help This email sent to pschneider@apple.com This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
