I've been searching for some information on Logic Studio's proprietary binary preset format (.pst files), but to no avail. I'm interested in the preset format of Space Designer, in particular. I want to programmatically generate preset files for hundreds of impulse response audio files, since doing it manually with Space Designer is extremely time consuming and tedious. My quick-n-dirty solution would be to create a simple Space Designer preset file, make copies of it and then modify the impulse response filename in the binary file (it's in plain text and always starting at the same offset, all parameters in the pst files seem to be at fixed offsets, by the way). It works, but well... Does anybody have information on the Space Designer preset format, perhaphs? This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
