site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: pro-apps-dev@lists.apple.com Hi Tim, The FCP project file format is not public, nor is there any API to let you parse the project file. We intend for people to use XML for things like that. - Paul On Feb 15, 2010, at 10:52 AM, Tim Jones wrote:
Hi All,
I've been digging through the Application SDK, but haven't found an answer to this.
Is there an API that will allow me to examine the FCP and Logic session files to draw out the list of files within the session without actually opening FCP / Logic?
I don't need any other information from the session files. Exporting to XML is not a good solution here as the user may be an intermediary without direct access to the physical files, so opening FCP / Logic will fail.
Thanks for any pointers. Tim -- Tim Jones tolistim@me.com
