site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: pro-apps-dev@lists.apple.com I'm trying to resolve some installer issues dealing with older versions of FCP, older versions of plug-ins, etc. with the goal of being as "automatic" as possible. To that end, I have a couple questions: - Is there a way to keep an FxPlug from loading, along the lines of how After Effects ignores plug-ins if you put parentheses around the filename? - What is the history of plug-in search paths across FCP versions? The official location for FxPlugs is now "/Library/Plug-Ins/FxPlug" (and the user equivalent), but in the past "Library/Application Support/Final Cut Pro System Support/Plugins" was also searched. In fact, in FCP 7.02 I have some older plug-ins which are successfully loading from Application Support, although it won't load my plug-ins from there. -- Bob _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
