There are 2 parts to point out.. - You will want to learn “Objective C”. - Then you will want to learn the Cocoa (and other) API that the Mac offers. There is a lot there! There are a pile of really great beginner books on that subject. “Big Nerd Ranch” books. (Objective-C Programming: The Big Nerd Ranch Guide) O’reilly and Associates books are great, too. There are some online websites, too. An older website that is great is: http://www.cocoadevcentral.com <http://www.cocoadevcentral.com/> A search on your favorite engine will bring up a bunch. And lastly, there is http://developer.apple.com <http://developer.apple.com/> That is a *really* large repository of the information. It has some tutorials, as well as documentation on the latest & greatest. Once you get your bearings with Obj-C/Cocoa and macOS, then you can dive into FxPlugins with some degree of success. bob.. Hello and good day. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!
My goal is to learn FXPlug to be able to create coded On Screen Controls for effects and titles. My question is if there is any training to learn FXplug for beginners? The coding experience I currently have is HTML, CSS and a hint of JS. The online documentation seems to be for more advanced users and I would love to start at the ground floor.
Please let me know what any advice you may have.
Thank you for your valuable time and have an amazing day! :)
Warmest regards,
Deyson
