FCP: Creating a One-Click Audio/Video Synchronization ?
site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: pro-apps-dev@lists.apple.com User-agent: Thunderbird 2.0.0.14 (Windows/20080421) Hi, we're planning to develop a function/plugin which enables the FCP-User to do a Audio-Video Synchronization. We put a load of still images one after another into FCPs timeline and some audiotracks for atmo-sound. the idea is: hit a button or to drag/drop an effect and the still images arrange themselves upon beat markers. I have good skills in Applescript Studio but have no idea of FXPlug. So I have created a workaround which is not very elegant. I wrote an Applescript which reads out the BPM value, creates an FCP-XML-Project-File, and sets the markers. So the calculations are already done when FCP starts. But it's too static! I use Final Cut Pro 5 and Xcode 2 on MacOSX Tiger. Best regards, Georg Kiefer _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored. Is it possible (which programming language) to get access to the audiotracks in realtime in order to read out BeatsPerMinute values (ID3 Tags), set Marker and shift the Images onto the right frame?
