Thanks, I actually meant software engineers working on building Logic Pro. Possibly I'll try the new developer forums. I am the developer of an AU plugin with an internal sequencer. Host synchronization of this sequencer works great in other apps, but not in Logic Pro 8. When I call CallHostBeatAndTempo (&pos, &bpm) in Logic Pro 8.0.2 I get different numbers than Logic's own beats/bars display is reporting. They start out matching the observed tempo of Logic's playback but can drift over time, or even jump to other values suddenly. I'm awaiting Logic 9 in the mail but it would be nice to give my Logic 8 users a solution. This list looks relatively quiet. Are any Logic Pro engineers tuned in, or is there a better place to reach them? This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
