To create an offline XML which is ready for Log & Transfer one needs the 'com.apple.proapps.ClipID'. This is not a problem with P2 cards as it is stored in the P2 XML. With Canon h.264 this id is not in the THM nor in the MOV file -- at least I can't find it. The tag for the 'Unique Image ID' just doesn't exist in the THM. Does any one know what Final Cut Pro needs (or how it works inside Final Cut Pro) to get the needed 'com.apple.proapps.ClipID'? This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
