This is a bit OT, but since it relates to some pro-apps I'm working on, I figured I'd start here. I need an OS X tool like the Linux KDM kdesu or Gnome gksudo, which will ask the user for admin information graphically and then run a shell command with those permissions. Is there such a thing for OS X? Basically I want to temporarily elevate my permissions using a graphical form, like you get in Installer or Iceberg. This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
