I don't think you can detect this. You would have to store the information yourself in a custom parameter. I wonder if there is a way for an fxplug effect in FCP to find out if the parameter data originate from a Motion project that was inserted into the FCP timeline. Can an effect get information, in which host the parameter data were created? If not, maybe this is a piece of information, which I should put into a custom parameter?
