I want to write a plugin which adds a menu item to the Export menu. Then I want to get a list of the selected items in the project browser menu. The FCP XML Interchange format allows getting project xml, but there is no way to find the selected items from it. Basically, the functionality should be similar to the Automatic Duck's XML export plugin, but I need to get the paths to the media files instead of exporting XML. Searching the list I found suggestions to use PRODataInterchange protocol but it is not documented. I may need PROHostElementProtocol but it is not documented either. Could someone suggest any links/info/hints how to do this? Unfortunately, there is no publicly available information on doing this and it is not supported.
