Many developers have asked us to support host memory allocation so that the host apps can better track how much RAM is in use, and what can be purged from caches, etc. We're thinking about that, as well as similar host calls for dealing with VRAM. I'd like to get a feel for what sorts of OpenGL objects your plugins currently use or will use in the future. So which of the following do you regularly allocate within your plugins: Are there others I've forgotten? If we were to create an API for allocating these objects, which ones would be most important to you? (And, as I've said previously, this all just stuff we're thinking about at this point.
