If the FCP 7 installer works like previous ones, what I do is copy Final Cut Pro to some other name, like Final Cut Pro 6.0.5. Then I install Final Cut Pro (in this case v 7). It installs a “Final Cut Pro” app, which is why you want to rename the previous version first. It would be great if Apple realized that people need multiple versions on their machines (perhaps FCP 7 does?). And not just for geeks like me! :-) Pete RE:Vision Effects, Inc.
