I wouldn't draw that conclusion yet. There simply hasn't been much traffic on the list yet. I joined this list too late to see your previous post, but upon searching the archives I found this one:

proper documentation to build a REAL LiveFont not just ripped copies

of existing fonts with bad metrics.

I'm not sure what you mean by "proper documentation." Are there some particular FontScript commands that are unclearly documented in the LiveType manual, or is it a more general thing? Granted, some of the metrics like the pivot point and anchor point may require some trial and error, but once you've got the first couple of glyphs figured out, the rest should go smoothly. If you have any more specific questions, I may be able to be more helpful.
