In the meanwhile I have solved the problem, found out that is was a QuickTime plug-in (as suggested), and of course it’s a plug-in installed to playback some Avid stuff J I have rewritten the “read me” and the “end user license agreement”, and there is no information at all about what will happen, and the name PACE Anti-Piracy is never mentioned, and this is not ok.
