I'm looking for some insight into what's going on with time remapping. A customer has applied a time remap to a clip in FCP 6, which shows in the sequence XML as 80.8163%. If I import the XML into FCP 6 and check the clip, the Change Speed dialog shows 80.82%. But in FCP 7 it becomes 81.22%. If I export the XML again from FCP 7, the value in the XML is 81%. Just a consequence of the Change Speed area being rewritten between versions? As an aside, is there ever a situation when the time remapped value is negative? It's not used for reversed clips as there's a separate reverse parameter for that. This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
