I want to connect Final Cut Pro with a special Media "Database". Is there a way to add new capabilities into the Final Cut Pro Menu? For instance, a way to insert a new item into the "File" Tab to call my application Does apple provide a kind of "API" for this? I know that something similar (Insert tab menu) could be done using FxPlug, but as I understand, you are limited to the "Effects" Tab (Please, correct me if Im wrong). Beside that, what is the Media control provided by FxPlug SDK? I mean, could I receive / send media using such SDK?
