It seems to be related to applying an image mask to the Title Background. Taking my Widescreen Matte title effect as an example... I've produced an updated version, but I can't remove the older version yet. Why? While the 10.0 version of the template doesn't work at all in 10.0.1, the version that does work in 10.0.1 has a control (Matte Strength) that doesn't work in 10.0. That means I need to have both versions of my Widescreen Matte title effect for now. As I'm in the middle of a project, I can't update my production machine to 10.0.1.
