I do a lot of stereoscopic video & film work. 3-D movies are intensely multi-camera by their very nature. So, I'm glad you asked this question. I wanted to know, too. I was looking into the same issue for a low budget 3-D production, which will be shot with a variety of low cost HD cameras. So, audio timecode is my best option, also. http://www.videotoolshed.com/?page=products&pID=26 Thanks. -- Brian On Oct 19, 2008, at 7:52 AM, Andreas Kiel wrote: Hi Martijn, Regards Andreas On 19.10.2008, at 16:03, Martijn Scholte wrote: hi andreas cheers Martijn also sent from my mac because typing on my iphone is not so fast :) On Oct 19, 2008, at 3:55 PM, Andreas Kiel wrote: Could you be be a more specific? So far, most of my 3-D movie work has been CGI or big-budget, so it hasn't been as important. But in the low budget arena, this is a big deal. (I've gone the clapper route, already, and it is a time-vampire during editing.) I haven't tried it, yet, so I can't attest to it, but have you looked at this: It looks to be more FCP friendly than most of the other solutions. But, again, I haven't tried it yet. If you try it, please let me know how it works out. You have to go along with "your dutch guy named Bouke from Videotoolshed" - no way in FCP now. yes i can :) i have a ambient lockit a 744t and a ex1 (not the ex3 with genlock and timecode in) i woud like to connect my lockit to the ex1 audio in and let fcp read that time code i now there a few dutch guys who made an app for this but i was hoping it could be don in fcp now This email sent to kiel@spherico.com This email sent to brianrg@earthlink.net This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
