site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: pro-apps-dev@lists.apple.com Dear List, The files in question are created during FTP at: /private/var/tmp/fcsvr_ldsd Thanks, Thomas Bauer _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. Pro-apps-dev mailing list (Pro-apps-dev@lists.apple.com) Help/Unsubscribe/Update your Subscription: http://lists.apple.com/mailman/options/pro-apps-dev/site_archiver%40lists.ap... A FinalCutServer installation which regularly uses FTP to download files collects a growing number of tmp files on the boot volume that are not cleaned up potentially filling it up quite quickly. and seem to be identical copies of the downloaded files. The files are just not cleaned up at all and the tmp folder already has a size of about 200GB. My question is: - When is that folder cleaned up usually? - In case this is a bug, is it save as a workaround to automatically just erase them when they are more than one day old?
