There’s no official support for publishing parameter groups at this time.
I see. So in the user guide and help page “compound parameters” are a different thing ?
However, I’m told there is a way to do it by hand-editing the .moef file, though I’ve never done it myself. Perhaps someone else on the list could point out how it works?
Much appreciated if someone does.
The second issue may be a bug. I’ll need to ask design about that. It may be that allowing plug-ins to change the UI without the user’s consent is not supported because that would be surprising to users, but I’m not sure.
I can live without this feature if I have to.
