I know this isn't really the place to ask such a question, but I feel with all the sharp minds here, I might get a great answer to this question. We have some spiffy HD NTSC material here that we'd like to convert to PAL for testing our video applications and servers. Using FCP to convert XDCAM HD 35 NTSC -> PAL of some complex whitewater rafting footage resulted in very jerky video. Is there some kind of alternate workflow using FCS that can do a pretty conversion, or some nice freeware or cheap shareware tools for the Mac that can do it?
