It's the samplecharacteristics I'm interested in because this contains all the codec info. Is there any reason that this isn't included for each media file in a project? It's there in the Final Cut Pro project (Item Properties > Format for a clip in the Browser) but not in the XML. I'd expect it to be in the <file> node.
