Can someone tell me if I'm misunderstanding the behaviour of field order in FxPlug, compared to the FCP user-interface? The renderOutput method in my generator is called with both an FxRenderInfo struct and an FxImage object, both of which have a field order setting. I've never seen any discrepancy between these two, but I do see that both values end up being kFxFieldOrder_LOWER_FIRST in renderOutput, even when I set the sequence settings in FCP to "Field dominance: Upper (Odd)". This is the case during rendering, while during scrubbing the field order seems to reflect what has been chosen in the sequence settings. Is my expectation -- that the field order in renderOutput should reflect the sequence settings -- incorrect? This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
