Apple doesn't really have anything exactly like AE. AE does 3d and if you're an AE pro, I've heard that Motion is different enough to be great for certain things, and infuriating for others. Of course, you could always move up to Shake, but if you know AE pretty well, I'd suggest getting the upgrade to AE and also get a copy of Motion. That way you can use both for the things they are each good at. Since you're a member of the ACN program, you can get NFR's of both Motion and Shake for a great price (a REALLY great price).
