I ran into a new problem for me with the templates. My package QC Integration FX has of course a bunch of templates, which I've build quite a while ago. Since one of the last updates Motion and FCP X cannot read the old templates anymore. Both don't even offer the usual "upgrade". This means that I now have to start over and rebuild all of the templates from scratch. The whole system with the templates is just creating problems. I so wish that FCP X would be able to handle the FxPlug plugins all on its own. FCP 7 was capable to do that.
