What I'm trying to do is to send shell scripts to Qmaster for Compressor. This works fine as long the OS is US English and the installation of FCS is English as well. So if there would be a way to figure out how "This Computer" is called on different installations it would be great. If there is no way I can still create a text field in the app where the user has to type in the current "This Computer" in his language - but a popup or even automatic detection would be much more elegant. Is there somebody out there who got all language matches for "This Computer". That would save me some time - I don't have to re-start the machine for every language then. Andreas, What are you trying to do? It could be that there's an easier way to do what you want. For example, maybe there already exists a system message or string that you can use. Can you explain what you're trying to do? This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
